Disclosure: Capacity4dev is a collaborative platform and members have functions and features to collaborate on our platform by using a contact form or chat. No e-mail addresses are disclosed to our community as all communication is happening through the system.

You can easily set this up on the "My Setting" page by choosing the value "Never" for notifications. Our recommendation, however, is to set it to â€śWeekly”, so you can stay informed about recent posts.

Sometimes, we send emails to specific categories of members, such as Space Managers, to share updates related to their memberships and areas of interest on the platform. In addition, certain notifications are automatically sent by Capacity4dev in relation to specific actions performed by users, such as requesting to create or join a group. These automatic notifications are part of the platform’s functioning and cannot be opted out of if you are managing a Group, Project or Resource on Capacity4dev.

If you prefer not to make your profile information publicly visible, you can choose to make it accessible only to logged-in members of the platform. To do so, go to the â€śAgreements” section when editing your profile, select â€śNo”, and save your changes.

In “My Settings”, scroll down and click “Delete Account”, then choose one of the available options and click “Confirm”. You may either:

  • Delete your account and retain all your contributions in anonymised form, so that valuable knowledge shared on the platform is not lost; or

  • Delete your account, including all contributions you have made

We recommend the first option, as it allows the knowledge you have shared on the platform to remain available.

If you are a Space Manager, we also recommend reassigning your Space to another Capacity4dev user before deleting your account, to avoid leaving your Space without an Owner or Administrator. Otherwise, the Spaces will be automatically reassigned to the Capacity4dev Communication Team.

Note: If you click “Confirm”, your profile will be permanently deleted and your information cannot be recovered.
