CEREEECA Project

1) To discuss and review the Mission of CEREEECA to support the Development of Renewable Energy resources and Energy Efficiency for increased usage in the Economic Community of Central Africa by:

• • Bringing focus to the development of Renewable Energy sources for Central Africa Region;
  • Researching, educating, and demonstrating new technologies and methods
  • Collaborating with various energy stakeholders, local and foreign investors and environmental stewards.

2) To discuss CEREEECA’s technical focus areas such as:

• • • Feasibility studies to define potentials for alternative energy in rural areas, hydro, solar, waste to energy, biomass and Biofuel potentials;
    • Public/Private partnerships for renewable energy project development in the Central Africa
    • Coordination and implementation of renewable energy projects
    • Energy Facilitation for local approvals and financing.

3) To identify committed and dedicated collaborators around the world that would like to back our project or to form a strong consortium to set up a Centre of Excellence in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Cameroon, to serve the Central Africa Sub-region with a mandate to support capacity building, stimulate business opportunities and the implementation of new ideas and methods in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
