Green Pact with Sierra Leone

The Transformational Potential aims to boost the green and blue economy as engine for:

• Low emissions growth
• Access to energy
• Food security
• Protection of ecosystems and biodiversity

The Team Europe Proposal activities include:

• Access to sustainable and modern energy for jobs and growth (power generation, transmission, distribution and energy efficiency; digitalization and entrepreneurship; planning, policies, governance and capacities of main energy institutions)
• Sustainable, employment-oriented agri-food systems for health and nutrition (food value chains, nutrition, employment and gender equality; digital agriculture services; business environment and investment climate)
• Restoring, managing and protecting terrestrial and marine biodiversity and ecosystems (protection, community development, governance pf terrestrial and marine resources)
• Governance (Strengthening social, economic and environmental governance; Domestic Revenue Mobilisation and State and local governance capacity building) 
• Education (TVET)
