The Latin America and Caribbean Investment Facility (LACIF) is a blending facility that leverages financing to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

LACIF collaborates with national governments, development banks, and the private sector to co-finance investment projects to achieve sustainable and inclusive development.

The Continental Energy Programme in Africa (CEPA) is an EU-funded initiative under Global Gateway supporting Africa’s just and inclusive energy transition.

The subsequent inception phase resulted in an agreed logical framework that defines project activities in five specific work packages generating concrete outputs, outcomes, and impacts. These work packages are:
1. International Events
2. Specialised Working Groups
3. Training and Technical Assistance
4. Communication and dissemination
5. Project Management
In the 7 reporting periods LNGnet organised 10 training courses with a total number of 491 participants, implemented 5 Specialised Working Groups with 47 renowned international experts involved across them, and managed 3 international events with 203 participants. In total, stakeholders from across 52 countries across 5 continents were involved in LNGnet.

Euroclima, as part of the Global Gateway strategy, builds partnerships between the European Union (EU) and the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) regions to drive a green and just transition. Through bilateral dialogues and regional collaboration, the programme engages with 33 partner countries and key regional organisations to identify priorities and translate them into concrete actions, fostering long-term environmental and climate resilience.

By creating the right conditions and supporting key initiatives in priority sectors, Euroclima helps establish a solid foundation for a sustainable transition. The programme also facilitates the mobilisation of climate and green financing, addressing urgent environmental challenges.

Following the adoption of the EU-Korea Green Partnership at the 10th EU-Korea Summit, the Delegation of the European Union to Korea launched a dedicated cooperation programme to support its effective and practical implementation.

Priority areas are:
• Green diplomacy and outreach in Korea, implemented in close coordination with EU Member States
• Facilitating dialogue and cooperation on a clean and just energy transition
• Promoting EU–Korea industrial collaboration in the field of circular economy
• Supporting biodiversity conservation and addressing environmental pollution at all levels
• Advancing city-to-city partnerships on green and smart urban innovation
• Strengthening youth engagement in environmental action and sustainability efforts

Key activities are to:
• Support policy dialogues and the exchange of best practices through technical workshops and seminars
• Conduct technical studies
• Organise trainings, study visits, and similar capacity-building activities
• Implement outreach initiatives, including media campaigns, conferences, exhibitions, contests, and more

PRARECOM project is one of the five projects in the Tubehoneza Programme funded by the European Union and implemented by AVSI in consortium with Caritas International Bélgique and Vétérinaire Sans Frontière Belgique. The PRARECOM project aims to contribute to the sustainable strengthening of the resilience of Burundi's rural population in 41 municipalities across 14 provinces. Its specific objective is to enhance the food security, nutrition, and social cohesion of 1,228,863 people by sustainably strengthening their livelihoods and basic services in these areas.

The Climate Change Sector Reform Performance Contract project aims to transform Ethiopia towards a climate resilient and green economy. It specifically improves the capacity of stakeholders of the Climate Resilience Green Economy (CRGE) strategy. The project also facilitates policy dialogue on forestry, industrial energy efficiency, national Measuring - Reporting - Verification (MRV) system for emissions and climate change funds management.

The project “Capacity Building for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency” provides Technical Assistance (TA) to the Zambian Rural Electrification Authority (REA) for the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency demonstration projects in rural Zambia.

Dialogue is a tool for improving Infrastructure policies implementation. In this perspective, the European Union (EU) decided to provide Technical Assistance to the African Union (AU) with the objective to enhance policy dialogue and support coordination and cooperation between the AU and the EU within a continent-wide infrastructure approach. This will be achieved by aligning programming strategies to create the regional infrastructure promoting continental interconnection and identifying priorities in infrastructure projects.

The TA aim is to contribute to poverty alleviation through increased regional integration in the energy sector in West Africa.
