AsGlobal Europe Programme Manager, my role in Wetlands International – European Association includes the monitoring of the developments of EU policies on climate adaptation, DRR, CAP and other relevant public and private investments to identify potential risks for wetlands, both within the EU and in developing countries. I advocate for mainstreaming;ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation approaches into EU policies and programmes. My work contributes to Wetlands International's overarching aim ;to improve the resilience of people through healthy wetland nature

Hicham Boughdadi is a senior communication & visibility expert, web strategist and knowledge management specialist with over 20 years working on aid/cooperation projects for the European Commission and international NGOs in the Caribbean, Latin America and Africa. He successfully implemented several communication and visibility projects, regional public awareness campaigns and web platforms. He has broad experience in developing communication and visibility strategies for international donor funded projects.

Mr Antoni-Perez is a consultant and project manager with more than 15 years of professional experience helping a broad range of clients in their efforts to address sustainable economic growth and climate change.

Mr Antoni-Perez has a track record of successful management and leadership in challenging environments. He has acquired hands-on knowledge working in more than 20 countries in Asia, Europe, North America and South America, managing cross-functional teams and handling complex political and bureaucratic systems. He has led the implementation of international cooperation and development projects valued at more than $15m and supervised the work of more than 100 people in remote locations.

Mr Antoni-Perez has ample experience working with international organisations like the United Nations, the European Union (EU), the World Trade Organization, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Secretariat of the Central European Free Trade Agreement. He has an excellent working knowledge of international trade issues and climate governance, including the relationship between trade and the environment, the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, the EU climate acquis and the European Green Deal.

Mr Antoni-Perez has a background in law, with qualifications to practice in civil and common law jurisdictions (New York and Venezuela). He has law degrees from New York University, the National University of Singapore and Andres Bello Catholic University (Caracas).
