Re-thinking Cultural Relativity: for better partnerships
How are we supposed to respect/respond to controversial cultural practices that we may find offensive, or just “wrong”, such as child marriage, female circumcision, mistreatment of animals, discriminations, ..? The workshop proposes a reflection/analysis of concrete cases of cultural dilemmas through different cultural paradigms.
Addressed to all EU staff dealing with sensitive issues in their external relations and projects/programmes with partners coutries.
