Hi! I am Mathilde and I am the event officer for the Team Europe Democracy project, which is part of the global thematic Team Europe Initiative on democracy.
Prior to this, I worked in Germany for an environmental NGO supporting ecosystem restoration efforts and the education of the young on the challenges linked to the climate crisis. Before this, I completed my LLM in International Law at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on the impact of the climate crisis on human rights. Always curious to learn about everything and anything, I have a particular attachment to issues of social and climate justice. To me, working on TED allows me to do my bit and work in accordance to my values.
The Team Europe Democracy Initiative (TED) is a global thematic Team Europe Initiative (TEI) launched in December 2021 to promote democracy and human rights worldwide.
