
Chartered logistician, regional integration advocate and businessman. Founding member, past President and current National President for Ghana of Borderless Alliance, an award-winning, private sector led, multi-stakeholder advocacy group that promotes regional economic integration in West Africa and tackles barriers to regional trade and transport.
Founding member of the “Trade Facilitation Coalition for Ghana” (TFCG), a private sector led grassroot-level campaign to enhance trade and business in Ghana; and the “AfCFTA Policy Network” (APN), an international networking organization which promotes intra-African trade and investment. Ziad is an international speaker and has lectured at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and the Center for Regional Integration in Africa (CRIIA), with expertise in the areas of alliance-building, regional integration, trade advocacy, trade facilitation and trade policy.
Mr. Hamoui serves on several high-level national and international advisory assignments: he is the Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the “African Food Trade Coalition” (AFTC); member of the Transport and Connectivity Strategy Group of the “Africa-Europe Foundation” (AEF-TCSG); member of the “National Trade Facilitation Committee” for Ghana (NTFC-GH); member of the Technical Working Groups of the “National AfCFTA Coordination Office” in Ghana (Trade Policy & Trade Facilitation Working Groups); and member of the Steering Committee of the “Security Governance Initiatve” (SGI) in Ghana.
