Description
The project aims to help Iraqi youth respond to work possibilities, particularly in agriculture and agri-value chains, by improving the provision of labour-market skills and increasing employability and entrepreneurship in the sector.
The project seeks to contribute to the establishment of a more functional and modern TVET system that is not only aligned with labour market requirements but also more inclusive, capable of providing the necessary skills to make the sector more productive, efficient, and competitive, with added value to the existing workforce and unemployed for diversification and responsiveness to the new challenges of climate change, innovation, and smart practices. The training goals are to improve "soft skills" and attain "transversality."
The initiative will aid in the dissemination and adoption of breakthrough "state-of-the-art" technologies.
