Entry points to projects contributing to the Global Gateway strategy:

International and national development finance institutions (DFIs) are government-backed development banks set up to support private sector development in low- and middle-income countries.
Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) have the mandate to promote national exports and / or national economic interest. They provide financial support in the form of loans or cover (insurance or guarantees) for the internationalisation of domestic companies.
Official development assistance is government aid that promotes and specifically targets the economic development and welfare of developing countries. The EU and its member states are the biggest global ODA provider (43% of global ODA in 2021).
Trade Promotion Organisations (TPOs) are responsible to support the internationalisation of their national companies, in the EU Single Market or overseas.
