Virtual training on “Working better together for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda through joint programming and joint implementation”
Objectives
The Working Better Together pilot virtual training aims to convene practitioners from the EU institutions and from EU Member States to exchange knowledge, practical experiences, best practices, lessons learned, challenges and outcomes of working better together for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through joint programming and joint implementation initiatives.
Target audience
Open to headquarters colleagues from the Relex family DG’ (NEAR, ECHO, TRADE, FPI + ECFIN and EEAS staff working in headquarters) and for Member States staff working on joint programming, joint implementation and development coordination. It is also relevant to other practitioners with responsibilities related to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, with both development and non-development background.
Course content
The same training on the Working Better Together Approach will be repeated twice in order to cater for different time zones and will be split into two modules:
- Module 1: Joint Programming
- Module 2: Joint Implementation
This is a basic training course for which participants are recommended to have some background on EU development cooperation policy framework and project cycle management knowledge.
