Results Oriented Monitoring, or ROM for short, is an external monitoring system reinforcing the practice of result-based management in the EU external action operations, as part of the European Commission’s commitment to aid effectiveness and accountability.
The ROM system supports and complements the monitoring and reporting activities carried out by the EU operational units managing the external action interventions’ portfolio.
