2023 EU investment mapping Ghana EN
The EU has been mapping the European firms' presence, impact and barriers internationally since 2019. For Ghana, a previous EU investment mapping had been conducted in 2019. In 2023, the European Commission (DG INTPA) and the EU Delegation to Ghana have updated the mapping in the context of the EU-Ghana Business Forum (3-4 July).
EU investment mappings help the EU to listen to the private sector's needs and frame their programmes accordingly.
This mapping includes data on:
- EU-Ghana economic overview
- EU business presence in Ghana
- EU business' economic impact in Ghana
- EU business' social impact in Ghana
- Key challenges for the EU firms doing business in Ghana
- Sectoral deep-dives in priority sectors discussed in the EU-Ghana Business Forum
Data show the EU firms own replies as communicated to the European Commission via an official survey and interviews. These replies do not always represent the EU views and the European Commission decline responsibility. To protect the firms' data, only aggregated figures are displayed.
