Photo book: Women's political participation and leadership: Stories & insights from Western Africa & Cameroon
This photo book highlights the inspiring stories of participants at a gathering of local women leaders in Lomé, Togo, in December 2024. Over two days, nearly 100 delegates from 15 West African countries and Cameroon came together to discuss women's role in politics, the challenges they face, and how to create more inclusive political environments by challenging entrenched social norms.
These narratives celebrate their courage, leadership, and determination, amplifying the voices of women who are driving transformation in local societies and governance across West Africa and Cameroon.
