E-Learning module: Enhancing Cooperation among the Biodiversity-related Conventions through the NBSAP Revision and Implementation Process

A new UNEP e-learning module has been made available on "Enhancing Cooperation among the Biodiversity-related Conventions through the NBSAP Revision and Implementation Process".

This free module is open to all and consists of one lesson, which will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.

The module is based on section 6 of the UNEP Sourcebook of opportunities for enhancing cooperation among the biodiversity-related conventions at national and regional levels, which is available fromhttp://wcmc.io/sourcebook-web

The module aims to support efforts to use the NBSAP revision and implementation process, as a means to enhance cooperation in the implementation of biodiversity-related conventions at national level. The module thereby focuses on the following six biodiversity-related conventions: CBD, CMS, CITES, Ramsar Convention, WHC and ITPGRFA.

The module is hosted on The Nature Conservancy’s dedicated e-learning platform, http://www.conservationtraining.org, and is free and available to anyone wishing to learn more about coherent implementation of biodiversity-related conventions.

Registration for the module on http://www.conservationtraining.org is quick and easy – click on the login panel to create a new account, and log in to the website. Hover your mouse over ‘Course Catalog’ in the toolbar and select ‘NBSAP Curriculum’ from the drop-down menu. Click on ‘enter’ and follow the instructions provided. You can also download the module for use offline.

Please do not hesitate to post any questions or comments here in the forum and we will be happy to answer them.

We hope you enjoy the module!
