Capacity Building related to Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Countries

Component 2 of the project deals with supporting the implementation of specific MEAs in the two focus areas, namely, the biodiversity MEAs cluster and the chemicals and waste MEAs cluster with direct support of UNEP Divisions, Regional Offices, selected NGOs and Collaborating Centers.

The two components are designed to work in full coordination and harmony. Falling within three UNEP sub-programmes - environmental governance, ecosystem management, and chemicals and waste – the project complements several global and regional strategies.
