Cámara de Comercio Italiana de Rosario (Argentina)

Refounded in 1985, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Rosario is a non-profit organization recognized by the Ministry of Economic Development, member of Assocamerestero (Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad) and interacting with 79 Italian Chambers of Commerce in 54 countries. Its aim is to fostering trade, investments and economic cooperation between Italy and Argentina, playing a leading role in consolidating business relations among SMEs. 

Our Chamber of Commerce is a strategic player in the dialogue with the territory: we bring together individual entrepreneurs, institutions and companies, and provide assistance to enterprises, advancing the interests of their members through business contact and interaction with government agencies, trade associations and international organizations both in Argentina and in Italy.

The Chamber is a valuable container of ideas, experiences and corporate culture, promoting and building solid ties in the field of international economy and internationalization of companies.

Among other purposes, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Rosario is geared to provide a wide range of business services tailored to the requirements of companies, as well as to encourage entrepreneurship and to create a dynamic and competitive international business environment.

With more than 30 years of action, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Rosario has developed experience in the following activities, which are relevant for a successful outcome of the project and fit in the task division between consortium members:

·Research and maintenance of contacts between young entrepreneurs, companies, institutional representatives from both Europe (especially Italy) and Argentina

·Collaboration with companies and institutions of Europe (especially Italy) and Argentina

·Organization of meetings B2B and with institutional and entrepreneurial representatives

·Seminars and other educational activities targeted at young entrepreneurs

·Analysis of commercial and social scenarios in both Europe and Argentina

·Promotion of an extensive understanding of cultural and commercial realities of EU and Argentina through information, events and activities

·Organization of press conferences and relationship with the press

·Provision of guidance to new entrepreneurs

·Creation of new opportunities of access to the labor market coordinating internships between EU young people and local companies

Riccardo Coppola is the Deputy Manager of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Rosario since 2008. He is the Sales Manager for the internationalization of Italian and Argentinian SMEs and the Manager of operational programs of the Chamber (Ecodesk, Italian Hospitality and Eurodesk, which connects Argentinian community with European one through collaborations in EU projects and informative workshops about EU). He owns a Master Degree in Comparative Politics achieved at the University of Siena (Italy) and a Master Degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development at the National University of Quilmes (Argentina). He has seven years of consolidated experience in the field of international market, global development, business development in private and institutional environments, as well as an extensive experience in Marketing and Sales, thanks to the organization of entrepreneurial and institutional missions, B2B meetings, business workshops and international fairs. With a strong inclination towards multicultural contexts, he possesses a strategic and analytic approach for the development of organizations. He collaborated with NGOs for initiatives of social inclusion with environmental purposes.

Gustavo Micatrotta is the General Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Rosario. He owns a Master Degree in Marketing and Trade (Superior Institute of Entrepreneurial Techniques, Rosario, Argentina) and a Master Degree in Foreign Trade (University of Economics, Foggia, Italy). After one year of teaching in Monseñor Juan Agustin Boneo Institute in Rosario, he has several years of work experience in banks (Bank Feigin in Argentina and Popular Bank of Bari in Italy) in the administrative, business and development areas (from 1986 to 1997). Since 1997 he has been working in the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Rosario, as Communication Manager (1997-2000), as Sales Manager (2000-2002), as Business Director (2002-2005), and as General Director since 2005. He attended various training courses for specializations in: Banking Sector, International Marketing, Finance Management (Bank of Bari, 1990-1997); Europlanning (Italian Chamber of Commerce of Bruxelles, 2007-2009); Marketing Analysis, HR Management, Business Planning (Assocamerestero, Roma, 2005-2016); Business Management, Marketing and Customer Care (Corporative Organization of Commerce and Industry of Rosario, 2014-2015). He is recognized as citizen with merit for his role in the relationship of Italian and Argentinian communities.

Damian M. Dellaqueva owns a Chair of Philosophy in Law at Law School of National University of Rosario. He is Researcher at Research Centre of Legal-Social Philosophy, Former Professor of Contract Law, Researcher in the field of Art and Science Law. He participated in two research projects in the field of social research. He has twenty-three years of experience as a lawyer, especially in developing, designing and perform legal tools for the growth and development or assessment and salvage of SMEs and entities undergoing crisis and their articulation for recovery, as well as training and counseling on them for the growth of SMEs, start-up companies, spin offs, private foundations or entities. He also develops tools intended for SMEs expansion and internationalization, including their participation in consortiums and conglomerates for the collaboration in innovation with research centers or other firms and entities for service innovation, products, research and development, distribution, trading, financing, whether at local or international level. Member of “Da Vinci” Group of Italian Researchers Abroad and Collaborator of C.U.I.A. (Argentinian-Italian Inter-University Consortium), he participated in INTENETS Project of International Work Organization of the EU for Southern Italy and was representative of Italian Applied Research Centers Asteria SPA for International Cooperation in Research and Development.

Stefano Paoletti is the Business and Project Manager of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Rosario since 2013. He owns a degree in International Relations (University of Milan, Italy) and a master degree in International Relations and Human Rights Protection (S.I.O.I., Rome Italy). He participated in the program Mae - Crui with an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome, Italy.Thanks to the work experience in the Italian Chamber of Commerce, he gained valuable experience in the field of international cooperation and business development through the organization of commercial and institutional missions, the development of training course for the internationalization and the management of business meetings between participants of different countries.
