EUDiF works to foster an informed, inclusive and impactful diaspora-development ecosystem through knowledge, dialogue and action.
The iimpact of this action is to support the bi-regional association between the EU and Central America in accordance with the principles and objectives of the EU-CA Association Agreement, as well as with the EU-Panama bilateral cooperation and agenda. Focusing on common political priorities, including green and blue recovery, digitization, gender equality and the fight against inequalities. Implement the Secretariat of the Five Great Forests of Mesoamerica Program to ensure coherence and adequate coordination between the components and with other interventions.
Nutrition for Development (N4D) seeks to strengthen collaboration and partnerships between the EC, member states, and partner countries, with the wider aim to reduce maternal and child malnutrition.
The ADELANTE Programme, first phase (2016-2020), supported 8 Triangular Cooperation projects in various thematic areas, in several countries, with all types of actors (more than 50 organisations from 18 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition to several European institutions), with diverse forms of collaboration between them and with different intervention strategies. These projects have contributed significantly to the Region's sustainable development and have generated interesting and useful sectoral and cross-cutting learning and experience exchanges.
The European Commission's Development Education and Awareness Raising Programme, DEAR, supports projects that engage Europeans in worldwide issues of social, economic and environmental development. The DEAR Programme works with civil society organisations and local authorities to promote global justice, human rights, sustainable development and democratic participation.
SOCIEUX+ EU Expertise on Social Protection, Labour and Employment is a facility for technical cooperation between public and social partner peers established and co-funded by the European Union (EU). The general objective is to expand and improve access to better employment opportunities and inclusive social protection systems. Based on the peer exchange model, SOCIEUX+ shares knowledge and experiences through short-term missions and activities that enhance the capacity to design, manage, and monitor inclusive, effective, and sustainable employment strategies and social protection systems. SOCIEUX+ mobilises European public expertise for short-term technical cooperation activities with their peers outside the EU, and is available in more than 160 eligible countries and territories worldwide.
