About SOCIEUX+
SOCIEUX+ EU Expertise on Social Protection, Labour and Employment is a facility for technical cooperation between public and social partner peers established and co-funded by the European Union (EU). The general objective is to expand and improve access to better employment opportunities and inclusive social protection systems.
Based on the peer exchange model, SOCIEUX+ shares knowledge and experiences through short-term missions and activities that enhance the capacity to design, manage, and monitor inclusive, effective, and sustainable employment strategies and social protection systems.
SOCIEUX+ mobilises European public expertise for short-term technical cooperation activities with their peers outside the EU, and is available in more than 160 eligible countries and territories worldwide.
How we work
SOCIEUX+ is results-oriented and demand-driven. It responds to the direct requests of public institutions and social organisations in more than 160 countries. SOCIEUX+ actions are micro-projects implemented through short-term activities.

- Ownership: Requests and actions are driven by the demands and needs of Partner Countries and Institutions.
- Peer-to-peer: Collaboration is based on peer-exchange approaches between institutions, experts, and practitioners.
- Public expertise: Expertise comes from the public institutions of EU Member States.
- Results-based management: Actions are always focused on achieving set results.
- Short term: Actions have a short and concrete nature, comprising 1 to 4 activities.
- Triangular cooperation: Supporting cooperation between two or more Partner Countries and/or between Partner Countries and EU Member States.
SOCIEUX+ partners
SOCIEUX+ is a technical cooperation facility set up and co-funded by the European Union through the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA), the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), and the governments of Belgium, France, and Spain. The Facility is implemented by a partnership composed by Expertise France (the partnership lead), France Travail, the Belgian International Cooperation on Social Protection (Belincosoc), the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel), and the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP).
