Training course on Justice, Democracy and the Rule of Law in the context of development cooperation

The European Commission’s unit DEVCO B.1. Governance, Democracy, Gender and Human Rights organised a training course in Brussels between the 17^th and the 20^th of June. The course attracted participants specialised on justice and governance from several delegations as well as headquarters.

The Training was designed to update participants on recent EU Policy relevant to the governance area, in particular as to justice, democracy and the rule of law in development cooperation, as well as to deepen the understanding and knowledge on strategies and most effective interventions, entry points and best practices in these areas, including gender equality. It provided a good opportunity to exchange the best practices and various field experiences in these areas.
