What if only “Edit Indicator” is visible but not “add matching indicator”? | When "Edit Indicator" appears, the user is in "Manage Logframe" the mode for changing the logical framework structure. The update of current values and the option of adding a match indicator is possible when the logframe is approved and in the main Logframe view page, "View Logframe", (not in "Manage Logframe" mode). |
Why the systems is blocking changes to indicator descriptions and other attributes? | Key elements such as its name or indicator type can no longer be altered. If errors exist in these aspects, the indicator must be deleted and re-encoded. In such cases, the current values should be deleted first when the logframe is under status approved. Then, under "Manage Logframe", the indicator can be deleted and re-encoded. Afterwards, the logframe needs to be approved to be able to reencode the current values. |
Is it possible to add another source of data apart from the ones already provided in the list in OPSYS? | You need to select one source of data from the drop menu provided in OPSYS . You will be able to provide more specific information in the comment section under each value (baseline, target and current value) |
Should all indicators encoded be selected from the predefined list? Or can custom indicators for each intervention be encoded | The logframe can contain customised indicators and predefined indicators. It is highly encouraged to use predefined indicators, especially directly encoded in the system, if relevant for the scope of the intervention. For FPI projects, all indicators must be predefined. |
Should all activities and indicators of the officially approved Logframe be encoded? | Only indicators have to be encoded as the reporting should be done against indicators, activities are not reported in OPSYS. If indicators available in the logframe officially approved are missing in OPSYS, they need to be added by the Implementing Partner under "Manage Logframe" and then submit the logframe for the approval of the EU Operational Manager. |
Should we include an explanation of the indicator in the description? | Additional information could be added in the indicator description to support the understanding of the indicator. This field is not mandatory. |
How should indicators with qualitative data be handled? | If the indicator type is “Qualitative”, please select the most convenient option from the drop-down list. This drop-down list will be used to encode the baseline and target value and to report the current values. When reporting the current value, an "Achievement Status" needs to be selected from the options "not met", "partially met" and "met". |
Are gender and sex disaggregations mandatory? How should they be encoded? | Sex disaggregation is mandatory whenever we refer to people. If further data is available, gender should be included as well. |
