The contract was amended, including a modification of the Logframe. How to update the information in the system? | IF the logframe was modified following an amendment, it should be updated in the system accordingly, and the changes be approved by the EU Operational Manager. However, modifications can be to a limited extent. After a Logframe is approved, the only accepted changes by the Implementing Partners are: Baseline and Targets values and dates under "Manage Logframe". Elements such as its name or indicator type can no longer be altered. If errors exist in these aspects, the indicator must be deleted and re-encoded under "Manage Logframe". To do so, current values, if any, should be deleted first under "View Logframe" when the logframe is approved. Changes will have to be submitted for Operational Manager's approval. Any current value can be edited at any time, as long as the logframe is in "Approved" status. |
Can a logframe be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese or French? | Yes, use the language of the contract to encode the logframe. |
How to confirm that the logframe was correctly processed? | Once the logframe has been encoded and saved, exit "Manage Logframe" mode and click on “Submit Logframe”. Track Curent status under LF "Current status" in the top left corner of the Logframe view page (Draft; Pending approval; To be revised; Approved). |
Which is the deadline to create a logframe? | Ideally, the logframe should be encoded right after the contract signature. Logframes must be encoded by the end of the inception phase the latest. |
How should we identify Output, Outcome and Impact indicators? |
The indicators should be encoded mirroring those in the approved logframe. If the design is technically sound:

Can we have more than one outcome? | The results should be encoded mirroring those in the approved logframe. It is good practice to limit the number of specific objectives (often one is enough), however for large interventions, other outcomes can be included as needed. |
