Our world - Creating sustainable solutions within the limits of our planet
Sustainable growth is a key value of the European Commission’s development vision. It is also an important pillar of the post-2015 development debate and the SDGs. In 2015, sustainability will be addressed at a number of decisive events, including the Second UN Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Forum in New York, the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) and EU Sustainable Energy Week. In light of the importance of sustainability to the future of development policy, EDD15 will focus on this theme. Discussions will involve how to protect global public goods as part of our shared responsibility and will highlight the importance of multilateral action.
