Virtual Conversation series 2
Virtual Conversations Series 2 activity is implemented after the country exchange visits. The first conversation started in February 2021, after the Active citizenship group returned from its Bosnia and Herzegovina exchange visit. The purpose is to prepare the next steps for the project participants’ engagement and to build group cohesion. This step is essential to start to facilitate discussion about experiences and lessons learned from the exchange visit and the project theme is showcased. Journalists who participated in the country exchange are also involved in the Virtual Conversation Series 2. Production of feature articles in collaboration between the journalists and civil society group members is also conceptualised and initiated during the Virtual Conversation Series 2.
The main outputs of this activity will be a series of messages on the project social media platforms about the prominent role that faith-based and secular civil society actors play in promoting respect for diversity, coexistence and social inclusion. Using examples from the exchange visit and from the groups’ broader expertise, the messages will showcase how a more active participatory and inclusive sense of citizenship across boundaries of belief and worldviews can emerge from collaboration between these two groups of actors. The activity is managed by our facilitator Nadia Bellardi.
