Stephen Musubire, a Hub & Spokes II Programme trade adviser to Samoa, has been working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour.
In the Samoa Observer, 17 August 2016, he discusses the role of foreign investors and the importance of addressing business ethic issues.
Stephen states that “Ridding the economy of foreign investors is unlikely to solve the issue… The presence of those foreign investors is also perhaps a wake up call to local business on the need to employ innovative approaches in their businesses that fundamentally recognize [the] customer as ‘King’.”
