Methodological considerations are numerous and complex in monitoring and evaluation. This is a vast topic that cannot be covered with any depth in this training module. From the perspective of the EC task manager responsible for developing a monitoring or evaluation TOR, at a minimum, the TOR should include a focus on:

• Mixed methods of data collection and analysis
  


• Primary and secondary sources of data
  


• Children as participants in the monitoring and evaluation process
