Description
ADELANTE aims to better integrate the developing countries of Latin America and the Caribbean and extend support to them in reaching their development goals such as sustainable economic growth, strengthening democracy, governance and the rule of law and combating climate change.
This facility makes use of the valuable experience acquired over the last decades by many LAC countries through their participation in development cooperation activities with the support of international donors. Additionally, it supports peer learning actions to maximise the impact of the EU development cooperation in the LAC region. The facility promotes and supports new forms of cooperation in the region, such as multilateral and South-South cooperation (SSC).
