- Support capacity development of the host government for the collection and use of sex and age-disaggregated data in national and sector planning, policy-making.
- Include child rights expertise as a requirement in the ToR for joint monitoring and evaluation processes.
- Promote pooled and coordinated approaches for national capacity development on child rights, rather than ad hoc and isolated technical assistance initiatives.
- Strengthen line ministry capacity to effectively engage with ministries of Finance and Treasury in child rights responsive budgeting.
