Development Policy

Anasia, has a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and Food Marketing, Msc. Agricultural Economics both from the University of Reading, UK, and BSc in Agriculture General from Sokoine University of Agriculture – SUA, Morogoro, Tanzania. She has over 16 years of professional experience in the agriculture in Tanzania, African region and Europe including the education sectors in Tanzania. Anasia has hands on experience in agricultural value chain analysis, agribusiness assessment, policy analysis, project management cycle and report writing skills with ability to inform different stakeholders on how the economic factors shape the implementation processes, outputs and outcomes of the planned economic development interventions. She has strong personal commitment to use her knowledge and skills to challenge the processes of elimination marginalization, disadvantage and poverty, especially, those that emerge from young people and women, ill-informed or prejudicial perceptions of social difference, e.g. gender, age, ethnicity and disability.

During my education and my work experiences i have always wanted to confront myself with very multicultural environments and all my working activities have been and are in strict cooperation with my colleagues. In my past job, consultant for an European Carrefour which is part of an EU network of about 150 offices, i find myself working very often with colleagues of several nationalities and i appreciate very much the fact of comparing different ways of acting and the synergies that can be generated during a multicultural cooperation .

In my job we work a lot with transnational projects and we always have to act in team both among colleagues of the office and with other transnational partners.

During my university studies i was working with the cultural committee of several immigrant group. I used to organize cultural activities and Italian courses for themselves and other communities of immigrants.

I am director of an NGO – CEIPES for to promote a Unitied Europe without prejudices for creating an open and tolerant society of today and tomorrow; to foster democracy, human rights, tolerance, cross- boarder, co-operation, mobility and European dimension in education.

Civil society strenghtening and youth expert, with over 25 years senior management, evaluation, training and consulting experience based and working in the EU, Southeast Europe and Turkey, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus, and beyond!
