Objectives of the webinar

TPSD webinar series focuses on the policies and instruments for improving the investment climate, supporting MSMEs, facilitating trade, and engaging with the private sector through public-private dialogue and investment mobilisation.

The principal aim of the TPSD learning event is to present in a comprehensive and interactive manner the key issues related to private sector development and aid for trade policy, programming and implementation. The emphasis will be on the operational interpretation of relevant EU and global policy frameworks, based on the expertise of the colleagues from the Delegations, DEVCO HQ, other DGs, as well as from the external experts.

The TPSD Seminar aims to give a better understanding of the policy context, of the practical examples of the EU Aid for Trade support initiatives in the framework of the Agenda 2030 and the New Consensus on Development, and of its operational implications and developments in particular in the following areas:

Target Audience

The webinar is open to all DEVCO staff / Delegations and Headquarters, especially those who are delivering TPSD programmes, in collaboration with DEVCO partner countries.
