Description
Welcome to the Urban Knowledge Hub - the digital, international network for sustainable urban development on the Capacity4dev platform. The Urban Knowledge Hub Network provides innovative tools to meet urban challenges through an integrated urban development approach to achieve resilient and efficient EU interventions in all urban areas — Local, Regional, and Global urbanization — with a focus on Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America. In the quest to achieve sustainable, smart and efficient cities, the development process requires synergies among long-term policies, stakeholders, and urban sectors. The Urban Knowledge Hub aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and learning between different professionals working towards a sustainable and resilient blueprint aligned with Sustainable Development Goals, the EU Green Deal, and the Urban Agenda for the EU. How can the Urban Knowledge Hub help you? Under the main DG INTPA’s Green Deal Knowledge Hub and Global Gateway umbrella programme, the Urban Knowledge Hub provides concrete advice and support in identifying and formulating innovative solutions and policy strategies. The Urban Knowledge Hub offers practical guidance for achieving a sustainable and integrated urban dimension by helping cities become well-planned, resilient, and financially sustainable. The Urban Knowledge Hub will widen opportunities for EU Delegations, professionals and practitioners through global platforms where partners’ progress in sustainable urban development is recognized (e.g., bringing knowledge products). Remember to sign up for the Urban Knowledge Hub' monthly newsletter to keep up to date with our activities and content. Don't see a group for your field of work? Get in touch! The Urban Knowledge Hub is managed by the Urban Development Technical Facility (UDTF) as part of DG INTPA F.4 UDTF, and is the European Commission’s Facility engaged with urban development solutions in partner countries. Get in touch! We want to hear what kind of urban community groups you want to see on the platform. If you have an idea, send UDTF a note via the contact form, tag us in a discussion thread or message us on LinkedIn. |
