AREA OF ENGAGEMENT
The EU's Gender Action Plan (GAP) III, adopted by the European Commission and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy in November 2020, sets out an ambitious agenda for gender equality and women's empowerment in the EU's external action, with the aim of safeguarding progress and accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals and other international commitments.
In the context of the joint mid-term report on the implementation of GAP III, adopted in November 2023, we share good practices and stories of change in the different thematic areas of engagement covered by GAP III.
They are concrete examples of the impact of
GAP III implementation.
They have been selected to showcase different implementation modalities, geographical coverage and a diversity of implementing partners.
