ICSIAPL : Integrated & Climate Smart Innovations for Agro-Pastoralist Economies and Landscapes in Kenya’s Arid and Semi-Arid Land’s
Objective of the project : To enhance livelihoods of agro-pastoralist communities through improved forage production and livestock husbandry, building on market driven climate smart innovations and sustainable landscape management in Taita Taveta, Kajiado and Narok counties.
Implementing organizations: SNV Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) in collaboration with Kenya Agriculture Livestock Research Organization (KALRO)
Localisation: Kenya’s (counties of Narok, Kajiado and Taita Taveta)
Funding and co-funding: European Union : EUR 2.500.000, The Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs : EUR 2.500.000
Duration: Three (3) years from 1 January 2021–31 December 2023.
