Objective of the project

The objective is to support agricultural research and innovation in Eastern and Central Africa to contribute effectively to food and nutrition security, economic development and climate mitigation in Africa. This will be achieved through improving the capacity, effectiveness and positioning of ASARECA as well as National-Agriculture-Research-Systems, and by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among the regional and sub-regional agricultural research and extension organizations.
