8. VCA4D Seminar Series

One of the main objectives of VCA4D capacity building activities is to ensure that the purpose of VCA4D studies is well understood and that VCA4D results are used in decision-making. The main target audience for such activities is staff in INTPA and EUDs dealing with agricultural portfolios

To this end VCA4D has launched a seminar series designed to enhance the literacy on value chains for staff in DG INTPA and the European Union Delegations dealing with agricultural portfolios. Understanding the benefits and limitations of the value chain approach will help EU staff to use it correctly to achieve their development objectives.

In addition, after each webinar session, a podcast is produced with our guest speakers in which the main elements of the session are made available to all to listen.
