Value Chain Analysis for Development (VCA4D)

This session was an opportunity to present the ongoing work on the revision of the VCA4D environmental methodology and to gather feedback from end users of VCA4D studies by our guest Speaker: David Combaz, Managing Director of Salvaterra (Environment, Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Consultancy Firm).

In particular, the discussion focused one:

• How environmental findings are currently used in programming and policy dialogue;
• Which environmental issues are most relevant for EU Delegations;
• Whether the proposed methodological revisions respond to operational needs;
• How environmental results can be made more actionable and useful for decision-making.

The feedback collected during the webinar will help ensure that the revised methodology remains scientifically robust while better meeting the needs of EU Delegations and development practitioners.
