Here you will find the presentation from the first session entitled “Concept of value chain: what are we talking about?“ In this session we clarified the terminology and analytical references of what is meant by a value chain with VCA4D Scientific Director Frédéric Lancon.
We are also sharing the scientific references that were mentioned during the session and two examples of studies (not VCA4D studies) corresponding to the two value chain analytical approaches presented:
- CBI, 2019, Cambodian Rice Value chains study- focusing on the governance issue.
- SCCRP 2017, Cambodian rice value chain study- focusing on economic development and growth along a commodity system approach.
The first episode of the podcast we will be producing after each session is now live and available here: https://lnkd.in/ek2_z6Rq
