DRC: Renforcement Institutionnel pour des Politiques de Santé basées sur l’Evidence

Renforcement Institutionnel pour des Politiques de Santé basées sur l’Evidence en République Démocratique du Congo

The National Health Development Plan of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) aims to promote population health by providing effective health care, global, integrated and continuous with community participation. To achieve this ambitious goal, it is necessary to establish a functioning health system that can respond effectively to population health needs, and well integrated into a multi sectoral approach to fight against poverty. This requires the production of a competent health workforce, both in terms of clinical and in terms of management, the empowerment of public health institutions to provide appropriate training, and conduct relevant research and the synthesis of the available evidence to assist health authorities to make decisions and develop sound health policies.
