Supporting the excellence at iccdr,b
The team members of the Support to Public Health Institutes Programme - Monitoring Facility (SPHIP-MF) visited the project “Strengthening capacities of icddr,b and national health authorities for better health policies and strategies for improved outcomes” in Bangladesh between 29th August and 1st September 2015.
Three full days were fruitful and useful to meet relevant project´s stakeholders and feel the enthusiasm to which iccdr,b wants to implement the project. A large team of professionals from research, project management, IT, communication and other types of expertise has been asssigned for the execution of this European Union funded project.
The SPHIP team members gave them inputs on the Monitoring & Evalution side, readjusting the Logical Framework, Objectives, Results, Indicators and Risks. Besides, Communication Strategy was also evaluated according to their objectives.

The SPHIP team members were pleased to meet such a good team of very qualified professionals and contacts between both projects are envisaged to continue for a mutual learning in the future.
In summary, both projects have understood this exchange as a nice opportunity to learn from each other and to boost the project in Bangladesh to achieve the excellence in its implementation.
