As part of the work to monitor and improve implementation of the EUโ€™s Gender Action Plan (GAP) III, the PFD has hosted a structured dialogue on the GAP III with the support of a steering group made up of civil society and local authority members. As a part of the Structured Dialogue process, several meetings have taken place since 2021. Read more here.

๐Ÿ”ธApril 2024 GAP III Structured Dialogue with gender focal points in Member States on Gender Transformative Approach. In the context of a hybrid meeting of the EU Member States Gender Expert Group on 15-16 April 2024, a two-part session focused on strengthening structured dialogue and engagement with civil society organizations (CSOs) in the context of GAP III implementation, applying a Team Europe approach. Speakers represented the EU institutions, member states and representatives from civil society organisations, who were particularly invited to share their reflections and recommendations.

๐Ÿ”ธNovember 2023 third Annual Structured Dialogue with civil society and local authorities on the Implementation of the EU Gender Action Plan (GAP) III. High-level EU representatives including Jutta Urpilainen, EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, Stella Ronner Grubacic, the EU Ambassador for Gender and Diversity, and Eva del Hoyo, Director General for Sustainable Development Policies, Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EU Presidency holder) met with representatives of more than 100 civil society organisations (CSOs) and associations of local authorities (ALAs). The meeting focused on the Joint mid-term report on the implementation of GAP III issued on 20 November, 2023, and featured an interactive discussion on the care economy, a priority of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.

๐Ÿ”ธDecember 2022 second GAP III structured dialogue meeting, with 125 civil society organisations (CSOs) and associations of local authorities (ALAs), focused on the country-level implementation of the GAP III; intersectional approaches; and gender equality in the digital transformation. Speakers included representatives from the EU, EU Member States (MS), local authorities and CSOs.
