To integrate civil society more deeply into its external relations and development efforts, the EU is committed to actively involving and consulting civil society organisations (CSOs) across all areas of its support.
This inclusive approach expands civil society participation beyond traditional realms such as governance and human rights to include a wide range of sectors including energy, climate change, sustainable growth and jobs, migration, health, etc.
This strategic expansion enables CSOs to contribute their unique insights and expertise on a wider scale, influencing key decisions and policies in critical areas that affect global well-being and development.
