Project description
Outputs:
  • 10000 women, 10000 men, 15000 girls and 15000 boys have the capacity to participate in decision-making and delivery of water and sanitation services
  • The understanding and commitment of local water and sanitation officials to girls’ and boys’ needs and interests is enhanced
  • Local water and sanitation plans prioritise resources for marginalized communities and households based on data disaggregated by age, gender, socio-economic circumstance
  • Community water access points and management systems reflect the needs of users including girls, women, boys and men
Indicators
Outputs:
  • Proportion of the population, disaggregated by gender, age, ethnicity, disability, socio-economic status and nationality, with access to improved drinking water supply
  • Changes in the time required by women and girls to collect water
  • Municipal spending on water and sanitation infrastructure increases for the poorest communities
