Mainstreaming Child Rights in the Results Chain
In this section we will look at what it means to mainstream child rights in results formulations, risks and assumptions, indicators and sources of verification. We will start with the results chain.
The key assessments required for the Identification Phase will have helped you identify the main problem/s, the immediate and underlying causes of rights violations, the most important stakeholders and their capacity gaps and a strategy to address the development problem.
Now you must use that information to formulate objectives and expected results for your programme that will reflect progress in terms of child rights realisation and well being.
In this process, you can always use tools for objectives setting that you are familiar with, e.g. the SMART tool.
