Objective of the action: The overall objective isto contribute to the improvement of living and working conditions of artisans in the informal sector with special attention for those infected / affected by HIV / AIDS. Specifically, the projects aims at contributing to the improvement of the institutional framework , skills and social integration of artisans in the informal sector , including those infected / affected by HIV / AIDS in the areas of Abidjan , Yamoussoukro and Bouaké .
Target groups: 5 Regional Chambers of Trades; 50 professional crafts organizations; 5,000 artisans and their families
Final beneficiaries: Ministry of Trade , crafts and promotion of SMEs, Ministry of Employment , Social Affairs and Vocational Training, 8 Social Centres , 20 Non Governmental Organizations .
Expected results:
R1.The institutional framework of artisans is strengthened and recognized
R2.The working conditions and the skills of artisans are improved
R3.Social inclusion and living conditions of artisans and their families , including those infected / affected by HIV / AIDS are improved.
