#InformalTalks Webinar 4: Organizing and mobilizing informal workers

The fourth #InformalTalks webinar "Informal Economy and Organization of informal workers - Organizing and mobilizing informal workers" was held on 30 October 2018. Here is the recording:
Organizing informal workers is at the core of the actions and policies designed to enhancing the livelihoods of populations dependent on the informal economy. The objective of the webinar was to introduce participants to different approaches towards organizing informal workers in view of improving their living and working conditions in several areas, such as extending social protection, strengthening their bargaining prover in value chains, gaining visibility and voice, having rights recognized.
The webinar was facilitated by Mr. Paolo Carlini, RNSF Team Leader, with interventions of Mr. Jacques Charmes, Director of research emeritus, Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), University Paris Descartes and RNSF Research Expert.
