Title of RWP: Investigating NDMs and their potential for economic development in Papua New Guinea.

Brief Description: A research oriented project. A cross sectional study design will be employed by 4th Year Environmental Health & myself on Non Development Minerals/Neglected Development Minerals (NDMs) with the following focused plan: 

1.The research topics will be allocated to 4th Year Environmental Health Students who are interested in investigating NDMs in Papua New Guinea. The research will be for their final year project  in order to qualify them to graduate.

2.The appropriate research questions will be developed to investigate. This is to provide base line information for the collaborative development partners (such as Mineral Resources Authority, Academia, NGOs,and the three tiers of Government- National, Provincial, and Local level Government Council) to assist them in their planning for development purposes

3.Relating to point 2,the research question can be based on collaboration with the  development project partners noted above to investigate NDMs

4.In addition the research information and recommendations can be used by Regulating Authorities and the three tiers of the Government for planning, development of sound Policies for NDMs, and to assist them in decision making processes.
