Name: Camillia Garae, Benjamin Titus, Jason Andrews, Rosine Lawac Title of RWP: The focus of this project will be mainly on the finding an alternative for extracting sand in the coastal areas. Brief Description: The project chosen is the Development of NDM’s in Vanuatu and the 2 NDM’s chosen are Pozzolan and Sand. Pozzolan was chosen as there is interest and potential of developing these materials in the local market especially in the construction industry. The project will focus mainly on identifying potential sites for extracting Pozzolan and its uses in the market which will depend on its quality and quantity. The other NDM chosen for this project is Sand which is used mainly in the construction industry and extracted in the coastal areas which poses environmental risks within the coastal areas. The focus of this project will be mainly on the finding an alternative for extracting sand in the coastal areas.
