Name: Colonel Adam Jansen Mwandila
Title of RWP: The proposed project will constitute mining of rock (Basalt ) from an existing small pit using deep quarrying at site which will then be crushed into stones of varying sizes as required by the Construction industry at the rate of 1500 tons/day. Apart from mining, the project will also involve block making and supply of crushed stones, quarry dust, and blocks to the construction industry.
Brief Description: The overall objective of the proposed project is to provide stone aggregates to the business community in Livingstone and parts of Kazungula District on a commercial basis and also to support the block making business of the proponent.
Workshop: Training of Trainers workshop on mine and quarry management, environmental, health and safety & human, labor rights and community relations in the Development Minerals sector.
