Title of RWP: Promotion of semi-precious stone development in Amudat District.

Brief Description: The aim of the project is to establish a Model semi-Precious stone Club in Amudat district, in order to promote the development of semi-precious stones mining in the region for social and economic development. The objectives include: training miners on value addition techniques; sensitize miners on best practices in mining, conflict resolution, environment, health and safety; identify various varieties of gemstones in the area and generate a base map (map showing locations of the various semi- precious stones).
