Detailed steps
Step 1: Log in to Your Capacity4dev Account
To start a discussion on Capacity4dev, log in to your account. You must be a member of a Group OR a Group Owner/Administrator.
Step 2: Navigate to the Post Content button
To start a discussion in one or more Groups or Projects, you should click on the yellow button "Post content"

Select “Start a Discussion”.
Choose in which Groups and Projects the discussions should be posted.
TIP: If you want to post the same item in both public and private space, post the item first to the public Group and then re-share the item to your private space, when published.

Step 5: Enter Discussion Details
Provide the necessary details for your discussion, such as the title, discussion type (Information, Idea, question, Debate), body (the content you wish to post), and language.

TIP: You can also change or add a location during later stage of editing the discussion.
Choose if your discussion should be Open (users can post comments to it) or Closed (users cannot post comments).

Select at least one topic and one country to tag your discussion. This is very important step which can help the outreach of your content.
Click the "Post content" button to publish your discussion. In other cases, you can Save as draft or Cancel.

You can any time edit the discussion, which will also notify members about the changes. In case you want to make only minor update, or for any reason you don't wish members to be notified of this post, you can check the box "Don't send notifications".
